Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) is 'the acknowledgement by companies that they should be accountable, not only for their financial performance, but for the impact of their activities on society and the environment'.
It sounds complicated but it really isn’t.
At Homerton we aim not just to fulfil our CSR obligations in line with statutory requirements but also to ‘go the extra mile’. So we don’t just recycle our paper; we compost food waste to put back into our gardens; we conserve natural habitats such as the ‘Conservation and Bee area’ at the front of the car park; we use Fairtrade coffee and beverages; in short we are committed to Reduce, Recycle and Reuse wherever possible.
